Science Uncorked - The Genius of Wine

After a sold out event this summer - the Science Center’s popular Science Uncorked series returns for the fall with a look at the wines from the country of Leonardo da Vinci.

Science Uncorked - the Genius of Wine offers enthusiasts an in-depth look at the wines of Italy as local wine experts from The Wine Market lead an interactive exploration of the art of Italian wine and winemaking. The event is Thursday, October 22nd from 6:30 until 9:00 pm.

Participants in Uncorked will learn about Italian wine regions, sample a variety of Italian wines, and explore the role that color, scent, and taste play in the enjoyment of fine wine.

Admission includes a variety of wine samplings and hors d’oeuvres by the Wine Market’s Chef Jason Lear. Following the interactive presentation there will be time for sampling more wine and food, meet the experts, and tour the exhibit DaVinci - The Genius.
