REMEMBERING PEARL HARBOR – Wednesday, December 7th
Join the board and staff of Historic Ships in Baltimore on Wednesday, December 7th in honoring those who served during WWII. Wednesday, December 7th marks the 70th Anniversary of the 1941 attack on Hawaii’s Pearl Harbor.
The Pearl Habor Memorial Ceremony will take place on board the US Coast Guard Cutter TANEY, the last fighting ship afloat today to witness the December 7 attacks in 1941. The ceremony starts at 11:45 AM and is open to the general public. Light refreshments will be provided and visitors are encouraged to dress for the weather.
The day’s events will be taking place outside of Harbor Magic’s Pier 5 Hotel in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, Maryland.
