The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore

The Maryland Zoo is one of the oldest zoos in the United States, founded in 1876. Today, it is a center of education and conservation, working to preserve the world’s most spectacular creatures including and extends 160 acres. Two hundred species are represented by 1,500 animals.
