Fort McHenry National Monument

Known as the birthplace of the United States National Anthem, Fort McHenry is a national monument and historic shrine. Visitors can get oriented at the Visitors Center before taking a one-hour self-guided tour of the area. During the summer, National Park Rangers lead talks, and there are historic reenactments like musket drills.
